Ontario Gurdwaras Committee endorses Patrick Brown for re-election as Mayor of Brampton

BRAMPTON, ON — The Ontario Gurdwaras Committee (OGC) has endorsed Patrick Brown for re-election as Mayor of Brampton, recognizing his leadership on religious freedom, community safety and Sikh rights.

Issued by Spokesperson Amarjit Singh Mann and Chairman Manjit Singh Grewal, the endorsement highlights Brown’s opposition to Quebec’s Bill 21, advocacy against extortion, transnational repression and foreign interference, efforts to protect places of worship, and call to designate the Bishnoi gang as a terrorist organization.

“Through these actions, Mayor Brown has shown a genuine commitment to religious freedom, community safety, and the values that make Brampton a welcoming home for Sikhs and all faith communities.”
